580 Super K 4×4 rear whells won’t pull.

Was moving small trusses with forks and all of a sudden only had front wheels pulling. Rear stoped. No noise or jerking before this happened. Checked fluid and it was low. Topped it off and installed new filters. Still won't pull in tow wheel drive , but front only in 4 wheel drive. Any help?

Do you have a differential lock, and will either side pull with it engaged? How about if you apply the brakes individually in two wheel drive? I don't know this model, but it would seem obvious/likely that the trans is fine, and the issue is in the rear end. Those tests might narrow it down.

A superK has a transaxle, instead of separate units. The suggestion about trying it with the diff. lock engaged is a good one. This will rule out a broken axle or stripped spider gears. The front axle drives from the rear axle, so you almost certainly a gear failure, or something similar. I doubt there will be an easy answer to this one.

And duh, lift the wheels off the ground, engine off, see which rear wheel spins free of the others by hand, with or without ominous ratcheting noises. Maybe try it in both two and four wheel, not sure what that would mean, but I think it will mean sumpin?

Gotta mean sumpin, and more info is better.
