Part #278327A1. Has anyone ever seen one of these switches fail? Took one apart today that had an interesting problem: Reverse worked OK, but Forward was engaged in the neutral position. Forward position was nothing. Took it apart and cleaned excess grease from it, everything appeared normal. Put back together and it works fine. I wonder how long this might last. Something had to be out of place, I just can't see how. Backhoe is just short of 10K hours.
Most of the failures I have seen were from abuse. Never worked on them much there about $250.00 to $350.00 new $250.00 on ebay
havent had the forward/reverse switch in the lever go bad but have had the relays go bad. There are three in the dash and have replaced all three in our 590M series 3 in the last year. Machine has 6700hrs
