580c both boom cylinders rebuilt, still won't pull up without engine full throttle Have to use extendhoe to put in boom lock ,can I rebuild just one bank on valve
Yes, one valve section can be rebuilt. Kinda drastic decision, unless you have done some investigating to lead you to doing that. Are the other hydraulic functions working normally ?
Yes all hydraulics ok..can I up pressure on just one function
Does the backhoe have the boom lock valve ? It is mounted on top of the control tower.
Only the relief valve is adjustable in each section. The individual sections operating pressure cannot be adjusted.
Rebuild one valve?
Yes , you can do one section. But don't expect miracles. The spools are a very close precision fit. They usually don't leak. If there is a leak it will come out the top where the lever is attached or at the bottom where the relief valve is. You need to determine if those cylinders aren't leaking internally. Even if they were rebuilt. They can still leak. Does the backhoe have a boom lock valve ????????????
Were the rods bend on those cylinders ?
There's a mechanical boom lock....don't know what a boom lock valve is
