steering got hard the other day movin' 2 logs from wind damage....checked fluid and it was low.....today was replacin' 30ft culvert pipe at the end of my drive and the hard steerin' came back....checked fluid and it was low again:Banghead:Banghead:Banghead......no leakin' on the ground:beatsme....so i checked the engine oil and it was half way up the stick!!!! i guess the seal blew on the drive shaft for the pump?....ran about 3 hours with HT oil in the crank case .....so what does HT oil do to main & rod bearing and the like? btw how bad are pumps to rebuild? thanks
My opinion... Same as ATF in a motor. It is just a real good cleaner. The running it over full would be the big concern for me.
