Have a 580Ck with a manual transmission, looking to swap it out for a shuttle shift. Any advice, pointers etc would be appreciated. Terry
I'm no expert, but think you will have to replace everything from the flywheel to just ahead of the 4 speed. The torque tube is different and all the stuff mounted under the gas tank is different. You can look a Parts Catalogue to see what is different. If you really want to do this, think about finding a machine you can salvage all the necessary bits from and rebuild them before you put it all back together. I'm thinking a decent shuttle machine would be cheaper to buy in the long run. Have fun....
