We have a 1989 Case 580K with floor shift. The problem we are having is the backhoe starts fine first thing in the morning, runs fine til you shut it off for a few minutes. Go to start again after a few minutes and it will not start. Raise the hood and let some of the fuel out of the water/fuel separator and it starts right up. Any help with this problem is appreciated. It is vapor locked... blow out the return line to the fuel tank from the injector as well as clean the vent on the fuel tank
Exactly where is the vent line on the fuel tank. I can't seem to find it. Thanks, John
it should be in your fuel cap try running the machine without the fuel cap and see if that fixes it if so there should be a small screen on your fuel cap that is most likely plugged up
