took my young son's for a walk around the block and happened to see this thing parked up ready to shift some dirt, i was alway told the 639D's were a rare machine we got heaps around the place in Western Australia though I dont miss working on them thats for sure!
Great Photos Once Again, If You Have Anymore Photos Of 637D's, 633D's And 639D's. Would Be Very Interested Thankx
my old man has been in the industry since the early 70's i've been meaning to scan all his old pic's one which stuck in my memory was a 633D getting pushed out of some soft ground by a D9H both with a nice thick black smoke form their pipes with some trees in the background from a gold course job he did in the early 90s as it turned out i rebuilt the engine (D353) on the very same D9H many years later as an apprentice for my first "solo" rebuild after it had kicked a leg out of bed
rare ss; Bells had a few 633D's from memory out on a dam i worked on many years back. But mind you Bells had a lot of gear all over W.A. Leroy
