does anyone have any 641 b parts that they are holding on to mainly fan drives we run about 8 or so of the dinosours yet and parts are geting hard to find. It would be nice if the A's were the same we have 3 of those left but they are soon going to the bone yard because no one wants to run them :beatsme
Sorry to hear no one wants to run them, I always liked them, slow steady and pretty good riding. They made for a good day, back in the seventies when I had the opportunity.
on a good hard packed haul road when they are running good we got clocked doing 43 mph
i would like to see some pics of your 41s in action, what are you pushn them with? i ran alot of 41s we always pushed them with two 9h, i wish cat would have made a 47. the company was called platte valley cons. from grande island ne they might have parts to sell, they ran 41s for years, might be worth a try
i will keep that in mind. and i will have to look for some pics we usually use 2 9 L's for pushing but if they are down we have 9h's and g's and if they go down we have a few oldies with poney motors on them that we can dig out

thanks i did stumble on a youtube vid of some of our iron working on a sugar sand job the stuff was horrible just scrapers hauling to the fill green dozer hand running the fill. a few 31's but most all of our 41's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rV_eE7s7u18

that job was within a few feet of the mississippi river and when that footage was taken the river was down yet then they hit record river stages in the weeks to come so a few spots in the haul road were under water. while all that was going on i was on a job about 5 minutes away from home bouncing around in a 621 hauling rock and clay getting raind out atleast 3 das a month.
