hi! i am having a problem with my skidsteer. it starts and runs fine but when i start to operate it, after a minute or two the valve lock light starts flashing and the bucket quits working. it still runs and drives ok, the bucket just don't work. any help or advice is greatly appreciated. thanks!
try cleaning out the fuses depending on which model you have they are either on the right hand side when you open the back door or between your feet.
Sounds like you have a bad coil on your BICS valve. On the control valve, the 2 top coils are for your aux, the coil you are looking for is located lower down and faces the center of the machine.
If you have selectable hand controls, ACS, it most likely will be the actuator. I just had to have Bobcat service come out and replace mine on my '06 S-160, 460 hours. Mine had same symptoms and code 32-31. Bobcat tech told me that this is not unusual as most early actuators will eventually fail. I would have done the work myself, but the machine needed the newer control system download and it was easier to pay travel time than deliver my machine to the dealer. I haven't got the bill yet, but it is probably $1000. Good luck with yours.
