After replacing the spool seals on this machine, im feeling like i can fix anything, lol..The machine has not been pulling good on the left side for a while now, but seems its getting worse. It does seem to pull a lil better on a fresh cold run, but gets worse after running it a while..I did look at the linkages when i had the cab up working on the control valve, did not see anything loose or broken..No free play to be a problem..Even though i have a feeling it might be more than i want to tackle, but please point me in the right direction, Thanks. John.
Humm pull the hydraulic filter and check for metal, do the same on the case drain from the left drive motor if it has one. Better or proper cold function, and poor warm performance usually is a hydraulic failure of some type. Continuing to operate may escalate damages. Did the drive problem happen before or after the spools were repaired?
This has been an issue for a while, way b4 valve seals..I will check the filter tomorrow..when i say a lil bit better, i mean very lil on a cold run..Acts like the left drive is just weak,,,having to overcompensate by using the right lever way to much..thanks for the tip..John
@Wanted to say that i hear no unusual noises ETC, it just acts as if it isnt getting sufficient pressure, sorta like a brake is holding it back..
f series machines have a mechanical brake, if the brake is not releasing, you wont be going anywhere. have you noticed you are loosing any hyd oil? the drive motor could be leaking ( internally) and dumping into the chaincase. chaincase level plug is on the front of the chaincase, oil should be within "finger reach" of the hole. :drinkup
