863 Bobcat wont start

The neighbor down the road has a bobcat that wont start. They where plowing snow with it this winter, parked it for about three weeks and then it would not start. It turns over good and I checked the shut off solenoid and it works. There didnot seem to be enough fuel so they got a fuel pump, put it on and bleed it, still nothing. We also took the air cleaner off, and still nothing. When cranking it over there is some smoke coming out of the exhaust. So I am at a loss as what to do now. And is there any way to load it on a trailer when they are dead, like a over ride or something? Any help is appreciated, Thanks

Should be a Deutz BF4M1011F engine in that unit. With most Deutz engines, not a good idea to run them out of fuel because it takes them a bit to get fuel flowing again. You need to make certain the lift pump is pumping fuel to the injection pumps when engine is cranking. If that's good, remove injection lines from injection pumps, set throttle to full throttle, then crank engine with key switch until you get good fuel flow coming from injection pumps. Once you get this, re-connect your injection lines and it should take off after a few moments cranking. This if you're certain the shut off solenoid is working proper.
