Do an internet search for a stump bucket. I've heard many operators say they work well for plucking mesquite bushes.
You need to read the thread "clearing mesquites" to get some ideas. HeavyEquipmentForums . You can do a lot of good depending upon many conditions - moisture content, soils, size of mesquites, etc. I have made a grubber out of heavy scrap iron and tried several variations. Have lots of small mesquites to grub but very little moisture in the Hill Country. Paw Paws Toy
