Got a 953C, The pivot shaft on the track frame have grease in them. From previous owner is it ok to leave grease in them or should I put oil back in them? Thanks.

    Did the previous owner put grease in them because of oil leaks.? If so fix the leaking seals and go back to oil would be my suggestion. Grease does not penetrate into the bushes joint like oil would. Do you have a maintenance manual for it yet.? You’ll probably need one sooner rather than later.

    If you don’t have a maintenance manual post your Serial Number for help in identifying the correct one. A pdf download costs $52, a paper version a few $ more.
