955L water in steering gears house

I have a 955L cat and drove it with water in steering gear housing. Oil turn into sort of lard inside and is stuck to housing. What is best way to clean out or wash it out? Thanks , Joe

    You should post in the track loader forum not the forum for members who have passed away.

    Easily fixed. (Moving the thread that is. Lard in the steering stuff might be another thing altogether...)
