I have checked the filter in the tank, clamps on rubber connection line between pump and tank and it is full of oil. Only makes noise when levers engaged. Kinda of a whine. Operates fine. Is there any other filter or strainer?
Does loosening the tank cap with the oil hot cause a release of pressure from inside the tan..? If not, suspect the tank cap seal is bad. Fix before proceeding further.
