Just a couple of tips I have found when pushing trees, one is build a ramp up once u have dug around it enough, a ramp lets u get higher up the tree, and secondly push with the blade straight and hit the tree in the centre of the blade that way u have both tracks pushing in a straight line instead of in the vid the machine is trying to be screwed around because the load is only on one corner of the blade. Pushng on the corner tip with a 6 way blade puts an awful lot of strain on the rams that angle the blade with the possibility that they could be bent, another thing is when u start pushing once up your ramp just leave the blade down a little bit so that once u start to push u can apply some lift which puts more weight on the tracks thus giving more pushing power. Done many trees over the years mainly with TD 15C & D6D back in kiwi land. Cheers RDG.

thank you i will have to use what you have told me. most of my operating was self taught. Dad showed me the basics then told me to go to town

I've put a few hours on a machine just like that. Can't tell if yours is a TC or not but mine was. Loved that thing. I can hear that you have the cab or limb riser raddle as well.

i am unsure of what "tc" stands for and yes she raddles alot i offered to weld it atleast 10 times and he refuesed

torque converter machine or direct drive. A dd has a pedal on the far left side. The raddle on ours was from the limb risers and the back cage get hit by the choker. we ended up welding a choker holder(forget the real name) to the rops about head high to hold the choker.

yeah she is a tc machine. if i recall correctly there was a choker bell welded on the cage of this machine to. bet the rear screen rattled at the top. Quite annoying when hitching a ride to the top on the winch
