Popular hockey player Johnny Gaudreau #13 and his younger brother Matt were hit while riding bicycles. He was affectionately referred to as Johnny hockey and had a huge following. He was also an advocate against bullying. Driver admitted he had a few beers. It was several hours before their sisters wedding. Johnny had 2 young kids, the youngest just 6 month's old. Apparently the law has a limit of 10 years max. for vehicular homicide due to drunk driving. The damn driver should get at least 30 years if not life. RIP Johnny and Matt.

Sentence might be longer in the US. It's 10 years in Canada but the max. sentence is rarely given.
