Thinking about purchasing a ctl. I see the Volvo ctl can be had fairly cheap. Are they good machines? Probably looking at a mtc110.
tnc110, I have never owned one, but almost did. I have had Volvo excavators for years and love them. I was close to buying a CTL until I started researching them. A friend bought one and had so many issues with it, Volvo bought it back from him. He was an experienced operator who had run CTLs for years and his list of issues in addition to the break-downs was very long. Like I said, I really don't have any first hand experience, but I would talk to people who have actually run them to get the best info. After my months of research, I bought a 289D Cat.
