just pull the bottom pin and push beam folds for transport, must have been build for narrow road application,machine was sold without a blade at production time.has full production semi u now.

When you take blade off with pusharms still on everthing is still to wide to haul,by folding the pusharm and setting blade on trailer deck face down everything should be under wide load
I am going to assume that it allows you to leave the pushbeams attached to the blade for transport instead of another hour or two of disassembly to completely remove the beams from the blade. Probably ended up being a short-lived fad.
