I just bought a used 40 footer that has a 12 volt operated hydraulic system, not a PTO operated system. It is not supposed to operate the pump until the operator in the bucket squeezes the trigger on the joystick, similar to a scissor lift. Mine runs all the time. Can't find anything online about this DC electric over hydraulic system. Tom
Were you able to find the problem? I have a similar bucket truck. 42’ VersaLift and the main pump is continuously on and the truck doesn’t turn on when the voltage on the system drops to a certain voltage to charge the 4 batteries back up. Thank you. Regards, Marvin
