. It's two half dozer sides in one dozer. It comes in two separate sides. It has two engines one for each side, and each motor only runs one track on it's own side independent from the other side. One side can go forward while the other side can go in reverse. With one big blade. Two Detroit 2 cycle engines screaming loudly, and they will ring your ears off. When you go over a small hump or rock with one side it will raise, and the other side will not be raised, and will stay level. .

One of the most impressive pieces of gear I ever got to operate. Mine was pretty tired by the time I got to work it but boy could it push. You could top off a Cat 637 in under 25 seconds with that mother in the material we were working (rotten rock)

Wabcoman, who were you with when you were on the TC12, I remember Feast & McJorrow had one down Wellington way backin the 60s, got some old black & white pics of it somewhere, working in the hills around Wellington. The book on the history of Clyde Engineering said there were 6 brought into NZ, saw the remains of one down in Whakatane years ago dont know what happened to the rest. Cheers RDG.

Here's some pics from a HCEA show at the Reynold's Museum in Wetaskiwin, AB, Canada. This one had a cushion dozer blade for push loading scrapers. Pretty cool to hear those Detroit 6-71's screaming away.
