anyone have advice on the mustang mtl16-I'm looking at buying one from a local cat dealer that wants it off there lot. they priced it to me at 22k with 499 hours and heat,ac,ect... tracks are in better then average shape. i havent owned a track machine before and just looking around for a good used one to see if it works for my needs rather then spending 50k on one. or any advice on my search as in what to look for and what not to look for
I have a gehl ctl60 which is the same machine made by Takeuchi and they are as bullet proof a machine as you might find. a tracked will do so much more than a wheeled it is not even funny. I love mine i bought mine with 187hrs for the same money but i have no heat or ac. I think that is a really good buy. this machine will not have they bells and whishles the cat or asv or others have but it will push like a dozer. If have any more questions just shot an email and i will answer if i know anything about it. see ya around Brent.
one thing i am wondering about is the fact that it doesnt have a turbo, do you guys think that matters much? Sandhill thansk a bunch for your input. just trying to get a couple points of view
what to do??? after a little research, it seems like numberwise the bobcat t180 kicks it ass in everything but gpm on the aux, and the cat 257b kinda beats it on most numbers? i have a t180 found for 4000 less money but it has 2600 hours? i have herd so many good things about Tak that i figured this would be a better machine but now i am not so sure after looking over the numbers. HELP give me some much needed advice!!!
