Loaded some equipment on the line barge for a job in Akutan. The processor is expanding its yard and has to remove a couple hundred thousand yards of rock. Plan is to cut it out of the mountain and push it into the bay. They want to do half this year and half next year. Were flying out to meet the barge sunday. Akutan Island has a live vocano on it. I'll see if I can get some pics.
When they do barge moves in Alaska they sure load everything but the kitchen sink on one load

Ya, I should have backed up and got a pic of the whole barge. This one is loaded 5 high. There is not one ounce of deck space left. We put our 966 on a flat because they thought it might have to go on the stack. There ended up being enough room on deck. The machine not shown on the right is the barges forklift. Its a Cat 925, rated for 96,000#.
