Good afternoon everyone, I’m working on a backhoe 420D where none of the hydraulics are functioning except the outriggers. Before I worked on it apparently someone tried to operate it with one of the bucket hydraulic lines taken off and it spewed oil everywhere, since then I’ve refilled the hydraulic oil and tightened down the lines. So far I’ve checked the lines and grounds for the hydraulic shut off switch and auxiliary shut off switch and both of them are fine. I’m fairly new to HE mechanics, only about two years experience, so I’d appreciate anyone’s advice. edit: so I believe this is the relief valve, does anyone know the proper amount of pressure supposed to go through this?
Need a machine serial number. Make sure you have eliminated other causes before you go twisting on the relief adjustment. Have you checked the load sense system?
