blown swing motor shaft seal

just replace new seals on the swing motor and after excavator running for few hours the dip stick pop up releasing the hydraulic oil and pressure... what could cause this?? thanks

    Good day Intuition based oh hours worked if a unit is down on performance, or you can often measure the drain leakage, however you need data from the manufacturer to work from. Only other possibility is to take the unit into a repair shop and get it tested. Kind regards Uffex

    Could it also be brake seals pressurizing the case and push seal out like a drive motor.

    yes..it could also be...your right...im still replacing the return filter for now and observe if it will be ok

    Good day A shaft seal will only take a low pressure (1.5 bars max) any pressure higher will cause trouble, a brake seal failure will result in loss of servo pressure affecting more that the seal in the transmission. Measure what pressure you have in that case drain line. Kind regards Uffex
