Post a machine serial number. How was the cylinder determined to be good? Is the stick power weak going in and out.....or just one direction? Is there any drift in the cylinder either direction? Any unusual noises when operating?

The stick is only moving in 1 direction, very slow in the other. i swapped the hoses and the condition reverses so the cylinder is holding presure.Serial # ff035cx231691 model 35c.

Back in the day we had a 35C with sticking control valve spools created by heavy rust between some sections. Check for good pilot pressure at both ends of the dipperstick spool(s) . IIRC at full joystick movement , spool pilot pressure is approx. 400 PSI.

Is the stick moving by itself or under joystick command? If you swapped the hoses on the cylinder and the problem moved then there is either an issue with the main control spool or the pilot commands at the joystick itself.
