done it all nothing works
What have you done so far?
first i change filler it looked like rust on top inside so i drained the tank silly cause its plastic, it was nasty took out as much as could re did the remove air thing and new filter just ran a little. I talked with a shop tack his thought was the lift pump i drove 50 miles to Kelso got one put it on no go
When you say "nasty", I take it means there was lots of junk in the tank? Did you get all of it out? If not the fuel line from tank still might have crap in it. Does the lift pump have a bango fitting with a screen in it? Not sure what your fuel system looks like. Maybe you can post picture. I'm guessing you have a Kubota engine?
is the fuel shut off selenoid working properly?
how long have you had this machine? and how long has it had this problem? You say you found rust in the filter and drained the tank. Let the fuel settle then siphon off the top half, and pour it through the tank again, keep doing this until you don't get any more gunk settling out of the flushed fuel. Take apart the fuel lines before the filter and blow them out with air and/or water hose.
Check that 12V "stop" solenoid. When it gets older sometimes it will allow fuel to get behind the spring. When this happens, the magnet cannot hold the solenoid open until it squishes the fuel out. DO THIS: Find the wire to the stop solenoid, Turn the key to the ON/RUN position but do not engage the starter. Pull that wire off and touch it againt the connector a couple of times. What you are doing is trying to eneregize the magnet multiple times before hitting the starter. See if that doesnt cure your ills. PS Cycling the key on and off doesnt do it. Trust me
Primer bulbs and get hard and crack and suck air. Suction straw in tank can also be cracked or filter and check ball in tank and be bad
