I have a problem installing new pick up fuel line on bobcat 853. fuel line came off from tank. need some advise. thanks

Ahh, common Bobcat problem. Here's a thread about the fuel pick up tube on an 853, not a lot of info, but at least some insight. One member posted that the engine has to be removed. I can't confirm or deny that as I've never done one on an 853 myself. >
the 853 is probably the worst case as ar as the location of the pickup line. it's directly under the hydrostat, right in the middle where you cant reach it. at worst you may have to remove one or more of the drive motor hoses, possibly loosen the right front motor mount and slightly raise the pumps for access and clearance. no reason whatsover to removed the engine and pumps ointhead after you can get ahold of the fitting and grommet, the replacement procedure is the same as all the rest of the bobcats. wille has an excellent thread covering the replacement of suction hoses. :drinkup
