hi i have an 863 bobcat and i seem to be having problems with it locking.it starts just fine and the lock overide button works fine but if i drive it for no more than 20yards everything just locks up. and it doesnt drive nor do the foot controls work. any idea what this could be? thanks,corn

my best guess on your machine would be a bad ground. the main harness runs under the pumps and engine and typically will partially break the ground headed back to the battery follow the ground wire in the wiring harness from the brake solenoid until you find a soldered splice with 3 or 4 wires connected together. splice in another wire to them and run it back directly to the battery. this usually solves the problem that is.. assuming you've already removed the cables from the battery and ground connection @ the starter and cleaned all the corrosion from the cable ends and battery posts. :drinkup
