Anyone have any experience in rebuilding the hydraulic track drive motors on a Bobcat? We have one leaking and Bobcat wants $4100.00 for a new unit. Or can a reman unit be bought, Bobcat says no to the reman option. Thanks

Thanks Willie59, will give them a call.
if the outer housing (where the sprocket bolts up) is leaking you can get a new replacement housing assembly from bobcat. you do have to completely disaassemble the motor, added cost of a seal kit, and labor you may have to replace the sprocket on that side, there was a design change to the outer housing and bearing. many dealers try to steer customers away from remans, not because they want all of your money, but because of the bad luck that seems to follow..... we just had a t300 come through our shop, had 2 reman motors, and reman pumps installed last year by another dealer, (machine was purchased at an auction) low charge pressure was the initial complaint. replaced charge pump, flush and refill, new filters. 2 weeks later, same problem, pulled the pumps, and found slippers and valve plates that looked like they had 15k hours on them. needless to say, set of pumps, drive motors, and cooler, flush & refill and filters again.
