Bobcat G 863 estimate?

My mother in law owns a Bobcat Turbo G 863 loader with 817hrs on it that she wants to sell and is having trouble figuring out what to ask for it. My guess is that its anywhere from a 1998-2001 model, we have yet to figure that out. It does run fine still. The original dealer sent someone to estimate it and all they offered was $4k for the machine which seems a bit low. She didn't have a good feeling about the guy so she asked me to do some research for her. I have been trying to figure out the year on the bobcat site and plan on calling the company tomorrow with the PI number to try to get more info. I have read that the current selling price for this model is between $8k - $4k. It has been stored outside for most of its existence and looks a bit beat up, but with only 817hrs on it, its got to be worth more than $4k. We know essentially nothing about Bobcats, and her husband who used to use it, passed away about a year ago. If anyone could help with some insight as to around how much it is worth, it would be much appreciated. Thanks Rob
