Good evening all, ive got a bobcat s590. Its got a power bobtach. the original plate was bent , and would be difficult to hook up to attachments. the power bobtach wouldn't really work but i just figured it was because the plate was slightly bent not allowing the pins to slide in easily. i replaced the bobtach plate with a new oem plate, new bushings and pins, and bout a new power piston for the plate. got everything installed today and the cylinder would open up to push the pins down to lock on the attachment but would not close to pull up the pins. i tested the switch and have the correct power to the correct leads. i went to disconnect the 2 hoses to it so i could cap them because i needed to change attachments. one hose was fine. the other hose was under pressure and as soon as the threaded came off it blew hydro fluid everywhere. Any thoughts on where i should tests next? i thought about testing the 2 hoses from the machine to see if the switch pushes fluid in each hosee. Thanks for the help.
I know you tested the leads but try swapping the hyd lines around. I had a similar issue with a CASE machine on the QA. The mechanic had swapped the lines around. I swapped them back the other way and it worked. Mine did the same thing yours is doing. Might be worth a try.
