I have a 2006 Sterling LT-8500. I cannot find the location of the brake lite switch on this truck. Brake lights do not work, all related fuses and relays are OK. I have the new part but the dealer was not very helpful with the location. Any and all info would be much appraciated.

Probably underneath somewhere hard to get at would be my guess. Not usually easy, look for the shape of the piece in the picture and you will find. Simon C
Ended up find it, it's nowhere near the brake pedal, ofcourse sterling couldn't make it easy, that air manifold is tucked away on the right-side beside the hvac box and behind the fuse box. Had to remove fuse box to access switch. Pulled the switch found switch is OK, wasn't getting an air signal, followed 1/4 airline back and it gets signal from tractor protection valve located on l/s of frame, this is a tandem dump truck so tractor protection valve was once plugged off therefore no more signal to switch.
That’s good troubleshooting.
