Hey, My bushings on the front end seem a little worn and have some play, I'd like to start replacing these. How big of a job? How much are these bushings? Thanks Rampking
pins and bushings how bad is the slop ? the problem with the cat it loader is theres are 21 sets of pins and bushings on the loader arm alone. 18 of them are just for the bucket and linkage. a small amount of play spread throughout 18 pins can grow to a large amount at the cutting edge.and it will be costly to replace all of them our 420dit gets greased mythotically and theres slop in the linkage.it has 7500 hours . im my opinion its too many moving parts to keep everything tight. you could have someone cycle the loader arm and try to chase the most worn parts. on our 420 the most slop is in the links that pin the back of the dump cylinder to the boom .brian
