fluid is draining from the master cylinder. there are no signs of fluid on the ground or on lines. is it possible the fluid is draing into the reservoir. if so, how do i repair it? model # jjg0018525
its leaking into rear axle from the brakes if the 4 speed shifter is in the rh panel tabs broken off piston big bucks and likely scored cylinders
You more than likely have leaking slave cylinders. They are mounted above the brake housing on the rear end. The fluid will leak off into the trans/rear end. The machine used a tch fluid, do not add DOT 3 brake fluid it with damage or swell the seals. Will give you some testing info in a bit.
brake actuator kit is around $100.00 does that sound about right. thanks elvis61
Yes, i would take the two off and slip the A52277 kits in and see if it stops the leakage. They are 70- 100.00 depending where you get them. You can pull up the floor or get them from the bottom, clean the area good, remove the top boot, remove the two nuts on the adjuster bolt, loosen the brake line, remove the retainer bolt and clip, slide it up and remove. Make sure the boot is in good shape and use some blue goo around the base when you reinstall.
