I had my dozer in for a LOF and check-up. The mechanic opened the rear dif. plate so we could tighten the left side break band. Well apparently the differential carrier is fractured at all four places. I call a portable welder friend who came to look and said he would touch it as he could not weld both side and it would fracture again. Question is this common? Do I have to totally disassemble the blade, tracks and the like to change this out with new? HELP
