Ive got a 1970's case 350 crawler loader, that is leaking 1quart of transmision oil from the bell housing per 8hrs. just wondering if there are any seals that would cause this or if anybody has come across this problem. Thank you.
Yes, there is a seal at the charge pump of the shuttle. The spout of the torque convertor needs to be in good condition for it to work effectively. It is also possible that there could be a crack in the torque convertor. Whatever the problem, the shuttle will have to be removed to confirm the source of the leak.
