Could someone give me The main highlights concerning my hydraulic Pump which let go today? Unhealty rattle coming out of it and absolutely no more flow neither pressure... Engine is a G188D on a 1972 case 480b. I would just like to know if i can look for a rebuild option or is it an assured total lost.... Thanks ! Dan.
Is it turning? you sure it's not a drive shaft that's stripped out? Don't know Cases, but that would be my guess before the pump. In either case, it's not likely rebuildable, but you have nothing to lose by taking it apart to see.
Do you know it's the pump and not a stripped coupler?
