Case 580b SL swing cylinder barrel trunnions are oblong. How has anyone gone about fixing besides buying new barrels. Again it is the trunnions themselves on the cylinder barrels. When I put new bushings on they don't fit properly because the trunnions are out of shape and will just wear out prematurely. Does anyone have a good set the would sell? Thanks in advance

I don't. Your chances of finding used ones are quite slim because they have a high mortality rate due to a lack of operators greasing them. I am not a machinist, but maybe they can be repaired by building them up, by welding them, and then cut them to spec in a lathe. That much heat from welding on them could distort the barrel's tho ?? What is the condition of the bushings that they are mounted in ? Are they wallowed out and the bores they are in damaged ? Your only hope may be new aftermarket cylinders. Do an internet search for salvage yards that are parting out a 580D. You might have better luck doing that than just searching for cylinders.

This thread may have useful info for your problem. HeavyEquipmentForums Goose's post (#4) clears up any confusion between the priority and non-priority swing function in them.
