Working on a 580 SL that will not move. Does anyone know how the de clutch works? I know there are two solenoids on top of the valve body that is connected to the shuttle shift. Is the de clutch intergraded with this? Or is there a separate solenoid?
same solenoids, it uses a timer relay in the dash to activate the solenoids. I've seen them fail numerous times also the button on the shifter I've found sticking internally
