I am doing a front wheel seal on a 580 super m # JJG0373977. Would anyone please be able to give me the procedure for reassembly. Specifically preload for the wheel bearings. Thank you very much.
Assuming this is a 4WD? The bearing preload is factory set - simply tighten the bolts at the ring gear carrier. Take note that on some models, one of the bushings on those mounting bolts can be a different diameter than the others.
Yes it is 4wd. Ok that is what i assumed but just was not totally sure. Hopefully tomorrow i will get this back together and it can get back to loading salt. Thank you very much for the help it is very much appreciated.
