Does anyone know Where there is a good place to buy rebuild seals for 580b transmission other than dealer.
2dogs, The 580B transmission has very few seals, I believe. There are 3 gaskets, one needed when splitting the tractor, also 2 lip-type oil seals. Only place I have heard of to buy these parts is the Case dealer, most are reasonably priced. The power shuttle on the other hand, uses many seals and gaskets, especially when the control valve assembly is included. Some individual seals, like the metal rings used in the shuttle assembly, may be available from other sources, since the same type are used in auto transmissions. Phil
