Hello, I have a 1974 Case 580B with a 188D engine, I am having starter issues that have been being discussed in another thread. I have a 9 tooth Bendix on my starter and a chewed up ring gear. My question is this... Does anyone have a starter from a 580B with the shuttle trans they could count the Bendix teeth on and let me know if it has 9 or 10 teeth? Or possibly pull if off your 580B to count the number of teeth? I will post pictures of my ring gear and starter, the starter was recently rebuilt, I just bought this machine and have very little info on it. Thank you in advance for any and all help!
