what is the best way to adjust the brakes after installing a new set? I leave the adjustment nuts on the linings real loose to be able to put the brake housing back on and then tighten the nuts up until they get tight and then turn them out 3 full turns. is that in the ball park of what to do? all advice appreciated
Manual says to turn the adjuster till you have .375 inch free travel at the brake wheel cylinder. You may also want to consider your adjustment and how it reacts to the switch on the brake pedal arm if you have the shuttle shift transmission and use it in "neutral" position on the dash switch.
