I am needing to replace the outer cover but cannot get it off due to the tube that the breather filter fits on to, does anyone know how to remove the tube?
Are you talking about the front cover where the crankshaft pulley is?
Yes, the front timing cover, sorry should have put a better description. I got it off, where the blow by filter goes, there is a tube that is mounted to the injection pump shaft, it has a 19mm allen nut inside, i found a bolt with a 3/4 head and barred the engine to break it loose.
