Hello all, Bought an old Case Super L to have around my place and tinker on. Been rebuilding cylinders and noticed the seals for the bushings in the eye end of my swing cylinders aren’t great. Bushings appear ok and there isn’t a lot of slop in the swing. I need the blue seal shown here: https://www.brokentractor.com/p/case-backhoe-swing-cylinder-rod-bushing-137248a1-137248a1/ broken tractor says they don’t have just the seal. Any other sources? I’ve come up blank. Thanks
I doubt you will find the seals only. The average price for the bushing is around $50.00 Consider replacing the bushings, they may be looser than you think due to the seals being either missing or leaking. Or, Just grease them often enough that dirt stays out of them.
