I am thinking of replacing my trusty Cat 301.8 with a slightly larger machine. Have looked at Volvo, Kubota, Wacker Neuson in audition to Case/NH and CAT. How is the "beer-can-shaped” Case/NH machine in practical use compared with the more conventional-shaped CAT? I think theese are the finalists due to their netter service organisasjon i the regions i operate in....
The CAT is built by WN. Great little excavator. I think the Kobelco is also good. I think it really comes down to what you prefer to run.
