Hello everyone! New to the forum here, but it looks good! Here is the issue: I have a 2016 CASE SR210 with the ISO / EH controls on it. The backup alarm has quit working on it. I replaced the backup alarm and it still does not function. There is no voltage to the alarm when you move both wheels in reverse. The fuse under the seat is good. Have done hours of research and can't find any info on this. I see there is a proximity switch (mechanical) for the manual control models but can't find a switch for the EH models? Also, there is 12V at the fuse under the seat. Anyone that I have contacted on this does not seem to know. Any info would be great to send me in the right direction on this! Thanks!
No one has any ideas?
It's controlled by the UCM, the silver module mounted behind your shins. So only 1's and 0's tell it to come on, no switches. It reads swash plate angle sensors to determine when you're in reverse. A white wire #895 Pin 18 on the X-XC3B connector is power out to the alarm. The UCM has a bunch of small connectors on it. The connector numbers are marked on the case.
Before you pull down the UCM, which will kinda suck, I'd open any big connectors you can find, line the ones running over the bell housing and maybe try to find the #895 there
Thank you! We had Case out and verified all the things you mentioned and the wires are OK so a reman UCM has been ordered. Now for them to come back and flash it and we should be good to go. Thousand dollars to find the issue but now we know what it is anyways. Too bad with only 550 hrs!!!
Yeah, that's lame
Short to ground was the only code that came up so all the wiring as checked first and that took a lot of time. Bought a UCM on ebay for 600, saved some there. STill needs a flash on it, probably another 700 for that!
