I have a cat 12 grader (8T 725) it had the power steering assist motor upgrade mounted just in front of the windshield, someone has come along and stolen it and i am looking for a replacement, anyone have an idea of where to find one, been searching online but nothing is coming up, any help would be greatly appreciated
You need a part number for it to search.
Thank you for the reply, i will contact the local cat dealer to see if they can get me a part number
Do you have a Parts Manual for the grader.? If not then maybe getting hold of one might be your best option, as a lot of the upgrades were included in them. https://www.ebay.com/itm/146789298048 The problem with the #12 is that it is of an age where no information exists in the Cat online system. Your dealer is highly unlikely to have an information although it would cost you nothing to ask. Can I also suggest the ACMOC forum as a good place to ask for information. The members there have a lot of experience on older machinery.
Hi Brian It says central coast on your bio, but what continent… your not in Australia by any chance are you?
