My 2014 Cat 242D is intermittingly throwing up error code 110-4. I was wanting to see if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where the water temperature sensor(Part#377-6954) is. Any tips on replacement would be helpful. Thanks!
Serial Number.? There should be a Troubleshooting procedure available to test all the sensor wiring first before condemning the sensor as bad.

Attached the troubleshooting procedure for the coolant temp sensor for your Serial Number. The sensor is mounted in the cylinder head. See illustration Ref #3. You'll be able to conclusively identify it by the wire numbers/colours (406 Purple/200 Black) that are included in the above procedure. If you want a copy of the electrical schematic for the machine please ask.
